Buckinghamshire Early Years and Childcare Training Terms and Conditions
Booking a CPD place
- Buckinghamshire Early Years course places are non-refundable
- Course places must be pre-booked and paid in advance to guarantee a place
- Course places are automatically confirmed on a first come first served basis unless stated otherwise
- Course and event places are usually limited to a maximum of two places for each registered setting and monitored to ensure relevance and overall fair distribution
- The purchaser is responsible to check the participants availability and suitability for each course and event place they book
- The purchaser is responsible for the accuracy of details provided for the participant
- The purchaser is responsible to notify the Early Years Workforce Team of any special accessibility or requirements prior to attending a course or event.
Venue Attendance for a CPD place
- The participant must sign the course attendance register to ensure they can receive a training certificate
- Participants that arrive at a course or event without a confirmed place may be turned away.
Webinar Attendance for a CPD place
- Participants should test joining links and notify the Early Years Workforce Team for assistance two days before the course start date
- Participants should join a webinar with an individual device and should not use one device for multiple participants
- Participants should have their cameras switched on and must be suitably visible during each session
- Participants will state their setting and full name to confirm their arrival using the chat bar
- If you join a webinar session without a confirmed place, you may be asked to leave the session.
Cancelling a CPD Place
- Course places cancelled within 10 days of the course start date will not be refunded
- Notice to cancel a paid place should be sent by email 10 days before the course start date to request a refund
- Notice to cancel a free place should be sent by email within 5 days otherwise you may be charged a nominal administration fee.
Courses cancelled by us will be refunded in full.
For Bespoke Inset-day Training
- In the event of a cancellation, written notice must be provided by email to the Early Years Workforce Team at eycpd@buckinghamshire.gov.uk.
- For Bespoke Inset training cancelled within 10 days of the scheduled date, no refund will be given unless an alternative date is booked.
- Where cancellation notice is received within two months of the scheduled date, a 50% refund will be applied.
